Which is better? Roborovski or Winter White Hamsters?
I love them both. They are both VERY different in personality. If you want a hamster to hold, a winter white is best for you. If you want one to just watch and not touch, robos are a great choice.
Which is better? Female or Male?
Sex of the hamster is not important. Its all about the personality of a hamster. Whether it be female or male, both will be different because not all hamsters are the same. So look for a nice hamster, whether it be male or female.
How do you breed hamsters?
There is absolutely nothing you can do to make a hamster breed. Like any animal, including humans, it is about the right time and the right partner. Some hamsters will not get along and will fight. Others may get along just well but rather be cage mates than actual breeding mates. Everything is natural and nothing should be forced. :)
How old is my hamster and how long will she live?
You can not tell how old your hamster is by looking at it. Hamsters live for appx. 1.5-3 years.

My hamster is sick, HELP?
I can not help you with a sick hamster. I do not know what your hamsters conditions are by you explaining it to me or you showing me in a video. I am also not a vet so if you have any sick hamsters, then please take them to the vet ASAP.
How do you pick a nice hamster?
Most pet stores will not let you hold a hamster so just ask to stick your hand in the cage instead. Slowly put your finger in front of a hamster and see if it runs or gets curious. A curious hamster will sniff you before running. The curious ones are the ones to look for. Do not get the one that bites or tries to attack you. With robos, do not get the ones that runs before sniffing.
When can I hold a baby hamster? When can I separate the baby from the mom? What if the mom neglects the baby?
4-5 weeks old to hold a baby hamster and separate it from the mom. If the mom is neglecting the baby, the reasons could be that she is in a big habitat and rather walk around than take care of her baby OR she is too young to be a mom OR she rather be on her wheel than be with her babies OR the babies are not healthy and she does not think it will survive in the long run OR the dad keeps mating with her. So take out the wheel, keep her in a smaller cage, have a lot of hiding spaces for her, take the father out, and make sure she is about 4 months old or older.
